Church View, Elloughton - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic to Enable the Proposed CCTV and Jetting Works
What is happening?
EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
CHURCH VIEW, ELLOUGHTON (PART)
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along Church Street, Elloughton.
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed CCTV and jetting works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 5 May 2025.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via the remainder of Church Street and Main Street, Elloughton cum-Brough CP, Dale Ward.
The road will be closed to all through traffic but remain open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for emergency services.
The Order will commence 5 May 2025 and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
