Beau Street And Stall Street - Prohibition Of Parking Prohibition Of Driving Of Motor Vehicles Suspension Of One-Way Traffic
What is happening?
BATH & NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL
(24-032) (BEAU STREET/STALL STREET, BATH) (PROHIBITION OF PARKING) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING OF MOTOR VEHICLES) (SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Bath and North East Somerset Council has made an order under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will introduce the following variations to restrictions in Beau Street and Stall Street, Bath:-
1. Prohibition of driving of motor vehicles 6pm to 10am daily on Beau Street at its junction with Stall Street in Bath.
2. Suspension of central zone parking bay on Beau Street.
3. Suspension of one-way traffic on Beau Street between the junctions of Stall Street and Bilbury Lane.
The order will come into operation on 8th May 2025. Full details of the proposal together with a map and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for making the order may be inspected at the One Stop Shops at Manvers Street, Bath, The Hollies, High Street, Midsomer Norton and at the Civic Centre, Market Walk, Keynsham during normal office hours. Any person who desires to question the validity of, or any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any of the relevant requirements of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, may within six weeks after the date on which the order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
