(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Doctor Lane from a point 5m east of its junction with The Hop Inge for a distance of 20m in an easterly direction from Tuesday 6th May until Friday 9th May 2025 between the hours of 8am and 5pm each day.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes for vehicles affected will be via Doctor Lane, Union Street, Serlby Lane and Vice Versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the part of road (Installation of electrical apparatus).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of A6178 Sheffield Road between its junction with Ickles roundabout and Bradmarsh Way for up to four occasions between Monday 28th. April until Monday 12th. May 2025 between 10pm and 5am each day.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via A6178 Sheffield Road, A631/ M1/ J34 south Roundabout, A631Tinsley Viaduct,
A631/ M1/ J34 North Roundabout, Meadow Bank Road, Wilton Lane,
Wilton Gardens, Rhymers Roundabout. Wortley Road, New Wortley Road, New Wortley Road Roundabout, College Road Roundabout, Centenary Way, Ickles Roundabout and vice versa.

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily suspend part of The Rotherham Borough Council (Various Roads, Rotherham) (Speed Limits and Speed Derestriction) (Consolidation) Order 2004 and reduce the speed limit from 50 miles hour and 40 miles per hour respectively to 30 miles per hour for motor vehicles travelling along that part of A630 Doncaster Road, Hooton Roberts from the boundary with Doncaster City Council near Hill Top for a distance of approximately 2151m in a westerly direction on the Hooton Roberts and Thrybergh boundary from Monday 5th. May until Friday 16th. May 2025.
The reason for the speed limit order is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Safety of site personnel whilst replacing street lighting columns).

NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes for pedestrians will be via the footways adjacent to Corporation Street, Bridge Street and vice versa. SCHEDULE
(i) Manor Road from a point approximately 100m south of the level crossing to its junction with Ladyfield Road (the alternative route will be via Red Hill, Hard Lane, Union Street and Thorpe Road).
(ii) Ladyfield Road from its junction with Manor Road and Packman Lane for a distance of approximately 300m in an easterly direction (the alternative routes will be via Ladyfield Road, Thorpe Road, Union Street and Hard Lane).
