Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n gwahardd cerbydau rhag defnyddio’r rhannau hynny o ffyrdd y cyfeirir atynt yn yr Atodlen isod.

Mae angen cau’r ffyrdd er mwyn i Asiant Cefnffyrdd Gogledd a Chanolbarth Cymru wneud gwaith ar y draeniad.

Bydd i droed ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 12 Ebrill 2025 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gyntaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith bara tan 17 Ebrill 2025.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

HALL STREET AND CHAPEL STREET LLANGOLLEN

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting vehicles using the lengths of road referred to in the Schedule below.

The closure is necessary to facilitate drainage works by The North and Mid Wales Trunk Roads Agent.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The Order is effective from 12th April 2025 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 17th April 2025.

Schedule

Lengths of road at Llangollen in the County of Denbigh

  1. Hall Street: extending southward from its junction with Berwyn Street to its junction with Hill Street

  2. Chapel Street: extending southward from its junction with Oak Street to its junction with Berwyn Street

The signposted alternative routes will be:-

  1. via Hill Street, Bache Mill Road, Pengwern, Brook Street and A5

  2. via Oak Street Castle Street and A5
