Dartford, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,  makes or intends to make the following Orders.

DARTFORD AREA

Great Queen Street, Dartford. DA1 1TP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of a new Openreach service, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Great Queen Street, Dartford, on or after 28th April 2025 for up to 5 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between numbers 2 and 8.

The alternative route is via Little Queen Street, St Albans Road, A226 East Hill and vice versa.

 

Station Road, Longfield, DA3 7PF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of a new water connection, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Station Road, Longfield, on or after 14th April 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside the garage and No. 5 to 13.

The alternative route is via B260 Main Road, Hartley Road, Station Road and vice versa.

 

Stock Lane, Wilmington, DA2 7BT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of UK Power Networks works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stock Lane, Wilmington, on or after 14th April 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Bracken House.

There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
