U6114 BENNETTS WALK MORPETH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6114 Bennetts Walk Morpeth from its junction with Coopies Lane for a distance of 28 metres in a north-westerly direction across the level crossing in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 23rd March 2025 until the 24th March 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from 23:00 hours on the 23rd March 2025 until 05:00 hours on the 24th March 2025.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

The closure has been requested by Chevron TM on behalf of Network Rail for works on the level crossing. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
