What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6136 BACK STREET, LAKENHEATH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U6136 Back Street, Lakenheath from no. 4 for 30 metres northbound to facilitate an electrical connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Back Street, Wings Road, the B1112, Mill Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 17/02/2025 - 21/02/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6023 ST JOHNS STREET, BECK ROW 

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U6023 St Johns Street, Beck Row from the junction with the A1101 for120 metres eastbound to facilitate remedial works from the laying of previous water main. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A1101, Mildenhall Road, St Johns Street and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 7pm on 17/02/2025 until 7am on 18/02/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
