The County of Cornwall (Four Acres Road, Veryan) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic and Stopping) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above order dated 6th January 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Veryan.
This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th January 2025 to 7th February 2025.
Road subject to prohibition - Four Acres Road, Veryan for its entire length. Notice is further given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 6th January 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned length of road in Veryan.
Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of this Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. Road subject to stopping prohibition - Four Acres Road, Veryan for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Helston.
This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 3rd February 2025 to 4th February 2025.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.
Roads affected - Godolphin Cross, Helston between the property named Churchview and the junction of Broadlane and Broadlane, Godolphin Cross for its entire length.

This prohibition is necessary for overhead cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th February 2025 to 7th February 2025.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 6th January 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Penryn.
This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th January 2025 to 24th January 2025.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 30 MPH over an area of highway being Morlaix Avenue, Truro in both directions between grid references SW82239 43895 and SW82788 44494 for approximately 1062 metres.
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out construction works.
The Order will come into operation on 3rd February 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 13th February 2026.
The restriction will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
