Theatre Street, Woodbridge - Temporary Road Closure due to Telecommunications Installation Work

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1079 THEATRE STREET, WOODBRIDGE

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1079 Theatre Street, Woodbridge from the junction with Angel Lane to the junction with Church Street to facilitate installation of telecommunications fibre. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Church Street, Quay Street, New Street, St Johns Street, Lime Kiln Quay Road, Quay side, Ipswich Road, the A12, Burkitt Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/01/2025 - 21/01/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
