What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6457 GROVE LANE, STANTON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U6457 Grove Lane, Stanton from the junction with Shepherds Grove Industrial Estate to the junction with Upthorpe Road to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Grove Lane, Upthorpe Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 27/11/2024 -29/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Kier Traffic Management. Tel: 07745 647799.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1118 STRADBROKE ROAD AND GREEN STREET, SYLEHAM AND HOXNE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1118 Stradbroke Road, Syleham from the junction with Green Street for 20 metres southbound and the B1118 Green Street, Hoxne from the junction with Stradbroke Road for 20 metres westbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1118, the B1117, the B1077, the B1117, the A140 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 27/11/2024 - 06/12/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Core highways Ltd. Tel: 0330 043 3030.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U1309 HARES LANE, WESTHALL

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1309 Hares Lane, Westhall to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place dunng this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Mill Common, School Road, The Danger and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 27/11/2024 -29/11/2024 from 8am - 6pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Suffolk Highways. Tel: 0345 606 6171.

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (PARISH OF BAWDSEY) (FOOTPATH 5) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2020

This order, which came into effect on 09/06/2020 closing Footpath 5 in Bawdsey has been extended in force by the Minister until 08/12/2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.

This closure is required in the interests of public safety as a result of unsafe surface conditions on the Footpath caused by erosion around the unstable steel pilings.
