What is happening?
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U7207 BROCKLEY GREEN, HUNDON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U7207 Brockley Green, Hundon from Mortlocks Farm for 30 metres northbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Brockley Green Road, Mount Pleasant, Lower Road, Valley Wash, Mary Lane, Babel Green and vice versa.
It Is Intended that the closure will operate from 15/10/2024 -17/10/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to TBF Traffic. Tel: (01449) 490865.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5014 EMLEN STREET, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5014 Emlen Street, Ipswich from Burlington Road to Walton House to facilitate tree cutting works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Burlington Road, Stevenston Road, Dilwyn Street West and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate on 15/10/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A1065 AND BRANDON ROAD, MILDENHALL AND ERISWELL
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the:
- A1065, Mildenhall from the junction with Thetford Road for 1000 metres northbound
- A1065 Brandon Road, Eriswell from 1000 metres north of the junction with Thetford Road to the junction with the B1112.
This is to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A1065, the A134, the A11 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/10/2024 - 19/10/2024 from 7pm - 5am with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4928 QUAKER LANE, BEYTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U4928 Quaker Lane, Beyton from 40 metres west of the junction with Church Road for 50 metres westbound to facilitate a new gas connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Bury Road, Church Road and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5522 WELLINGTON ROAD, EYE
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5522 Wellington Road, Eye from Old Brew House Court to the junction with Church Street to facilitate the installation of a new electricity connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Church Street, the B1077 and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C482 CROSS GREEN, DEBENHAM
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C482 Cross Green, Debenham from no. 6 for 20 metes south westbound to facilitate the replacement of an electrical link box. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Cross Green, Kenton Road, High Street and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C953 LINSTEAD PARVA ROAD, CHEDISTON
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C953 Linstead Parva Road, Chediston from the junction with Chediston Green for 100 metres southbound to facilitate connecting a new water mam. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1123, the A144, Wissett Road, Halesworth Road, The Street, Nunn's Hill and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF 7.5 TONNE WEIGHT RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE B1115 HIGH STREET AND B1113 HIGH STREET AND IPSWICH ROAD, BILDESTON, SPROUGHTON AND NEEDHAM MARKET
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1115 High Street, Bildeston from
the junction with Chelsworth Road to the B1078 to facilitate road marking improvements.
Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A1141, the A1071, the B1113, the B1078 and vice versa. For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on the B1113 High Street, Sproughton from the roundabout with the A1071 to the junction with Lower Street and the B1113 Ipswich Road, Needham Market from the junction with Grinstead Hill to the junction with the B1078
It is intended that these measures will operate from 24/10/2024 - 25710/2024 from 9.30am - 2.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Suffolk Highways. Tel: 0345 606 6171.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C466 CLAY HILL, HINTLESHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C466 Clay Hill, Hintlesham from 25 metres south of the junction with Duke Street for 330 metres southbound to facilitate replacing overhead electrical lines and poles.
Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Duke Street, the A1071, Washbrook Road, Pigeons Lane, Swan Hill, Chapel Lane, London Road Former A12, Elm Lane, Hollow Road, Chattisham Road, The Street and vice versa.

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U3808 Rectory Road, Orford from The Gables to Wingalow to facilitate fibre ducting works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Daphne Road, Church Street, Market Hill, Front Street, Ferry Road and vice versa.

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U3808 Raydon Lane, Orford from the junction with Rectory Road to the junction with Bullockshed Lane to facilitate fibre ducting works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Bullockshed Lane, Ferry Road, Front Street, Market Hill, Church Street, Daphne Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 24/10/2024 - 30/10/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months Tor longer if extended by the Minister).
