What is happening?
CITY OF BRISTOL
(VARIOUS ROADS, ST. PHILIPS AREA, LAWRENCE HILL, CITY OF BRISTOL) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) (LOADING PLACES) ORDER 2024
The City Council of Bristol hereby gives NOTICE that on 19th September 2024 it made a traffic order, the effect of which is:-
1. to introduce a Mon - Fri 8am - 6pm loading place in George Jones Road, south western side, at its closed end; and
2. to revise prohibition of waiting arrangements in George Jones Road, both sides, south east of Days Road.
The order will come into operation on 11th October 2024 and a copy thereof, together with plans, a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for making the order and a copy of the order being revoked may be inspected at the Citizen Service Point, 100 Temple Street, Bristol, BS1 6AG, between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on Monday to Friday.
Any person who desires to question the validity of, or of any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, or on the grounds that any of the relevant requirements of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, may within six weeks after the date on which the order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
