Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
NOTICE is hereby given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL, in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), to upgrade the existing crossing point as described in column 1 of Schedule 1 hereto, at the location as described in column 2 of the said Schedule.
A plan showing the proposed zebra crossing may be inspected during normal office hours at Kent Highways & Transportation, Kroner House, Eurogate Business Park, Ashford, Kent TN24 8XU by appointment booked through west.highwayimprovements@kent.gov.uk from the 4 October 2024 or viewed online at www.kent.gov.uk/highwaysconsultations until 12 noon on Friday 28 October 2024. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL intends to make the above Order under sections 1, 2, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’) and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby proposes to make the following order:-
The effect of the proposed named Order will introduce or amend existing waiting restrictions on the following lengths of road (in this part of the notice DYL’s means double yellow lines) waiting to be prohibited at any time on the following length of roads in Maidstone:-
SUSSEX ROAD – DYLs. On the north side from its eastern boundary of 43 Sussex Road to the western boundary of 45 Sussex Road. THE STREET – DYLs (1) On the north west side form its junction with Tonbridge Road for a distance of 33 metres in a north westerly direction. (2) On the south west side from its junction with Tonbridge Road for a distance of 27metres in a north westerly direction.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
NOTICE is hereby given that the Kent County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004, and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.
The effect of the Order is to remove the school keep clear markings with a small section of no waiting at any time double yellow lines (DYLs) and replace with a zebra crossing on the following length of roads in Maidstone:-
LOOSE ROAD – (1) On the northwest side remove the school keep clear markings from outside Loose Primary School (2) On the southeast side remove a small section of yellow lines outside the Coach House. Replace both with a Zebra Crossing.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
NOTICE is given that the Kent County Council hereby proposes to make an Order under Sections 81, 82, 84 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would be to reduce the existing speed limit to a 40mph speed limit in East Farleigh, Maidstone on the following length of road:-
DEAN STREET – From its junction with Heath Road for a distance of 179 metres in a northeasterly direction. HEATH ROAD – From a point 145 meters north west of its junction with Coppice Road for a distance of 915 meters in a north westerly direction.
