Longdown Road (D5311) Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Longdown Road (D5311) Farnham which extends from its junction with Beech Avenue (X84051) to the northeastern property boundary line of “Foxwood, 15a Longdown Road”.
Alternative Route – Longdown Road (D5311), Burnt Hill Road (D5300), Frensham Road (A287), Frensham Vale (D5310), Gardeners Hill Road (D115), Longdown Road (D5311) or the same route in reverse.
This Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecom works, which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 9:30am and 3:30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 03 October 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.
Highercombe Road (D5528) Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Highercombe Road (D5528) Haslemere as extends from its junction with (D5528) Three Gates Lane to its junction with the access to the property known as “Grays Lodge” and; (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Highercombe Road (D5528) Haslemere Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.1) 2024” in its entirety. Alternative Route: Highercombe Road, (A286) Grayswood Road, and Three Gates Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate utility works for, or on behalf of Centercomms Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 07 October 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time, under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.
A287 Odiham Road, Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of A287 Odiham Road, Farnham which extends between its junction with Folly Hill westwards to the boundary between Surrey County Council and Hampshire County Council. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate footway slurry and/or major maintenance works which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 3 October 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Pedestrian access to premises will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. Alternative Route 1 (clockwise) – A287 Odiham Road (Hampshire), B3013 Beacon Hill Road (Hampshire), B3013 Reading Rd South (Hampshire), A323 Aldershot Road (Hampshire), A323 Norris Hill (Hampshire), A323 Fleet Road (Hampshire) Clubhouse Road (Hampshire), Queens Road roundabout, A325 Farnborough Road (Hampshire), A325 Farnborough Road and A3016 Upper Hale Road; Alternative Route 2 (anti-clockwise) – A3016 Upper Hale Road, A325 Farnborough Road, A325 Farnborough Road (Hampshire), A323 Fleet Road (Hampshire), A323 Norris Hill (Hampshire), A323 Aldershot Road (Hampshire), B3013 Reading Road South (Hampshire), B3013 Beacon Hill Road (Hampshire) and A287 Odiham Road.
