What is happening?

GORCHYMYN CYNGOR SIR DINAS A SIR CAERDYDD (A48 RHODFA’R DWYRAIN, CAERDYDD) (CAU DROS DRO) 2024

Ar 6 Medi 2024, gwnaeth Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), a drwy’r pwerau galluogi eraill i gyd, Orchymyn fydd yn gwahardd cerbydau rhag defnyddio na theithio ar hyd y darnau o ffyrdd a nodir yn yr Atodlen isod.

Mae’r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol i hwyluso gwaith ar y briffordd neu gerllaw, a disgwylir iddo fod mewn grym o ddydd Llun 9 Medi 2024 tan ddydd Iau 3 Hydref 2024 neu nes i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau. Disgwylir i’r gwaith ddigwydd rhwng 7.30pm bob nos a 5.00am bob bore. Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau a gaiff eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau ar waith am hyd at 18 mis.

Enw’r Gorchymyn fydd “Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (A48 Rhodfa’r Dwyrain, Caerdydd) (Cau Ffordd Dros Dro) 2024”.

• Ffordd ymadael tua’r dwyrain yr A48, Rhodfa’r Dwyrain, o’r gyffordd â Chyfnewidfa Gabalfa i fynedfa i’r Ysbyty Athrofaol Cymru Y ffordd arall ar gyfer cerbydau y mae’r gorchymyn hwn yn effeithio arnynt fydd ar hyd yr A470 Heol y Gogledd, yr A469 o’r ffordd gylchol i Rodfa Rhydhelig a Rhodfa Gorllewinol Brenin Siôr V.

• Yr A48 Rhodfa’r Dwyrain i gyfeiriad y gorllewin o bont gyswllt Ysbyty Athrofaol Cymru A48 i’w chyffordd â Chyfnewidfa Gabalfa Y llwybr arall i gerbydau y mae cau’r ffordd yn effeithio arnynt fydd ar hyd Heol Allensbank, Heol yr Eglwys Newydd, Heol Beulah a Chylchdro Gabalfa.

THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF (A48 EASTERN AVENUE, CARDIFF) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES) ORDER 2024

On the 6th September 2024, The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers, made an Order the general effect of which is to prevent any vehicle from using or proceeding along the lengths of road specified in the Schedule below.

This Order is necessary to facilitate works on or near the highway and is expected to be in operation from Monday 9th September 2024 until Thursday 3rd October 2024 or until works are complete. The works are scheduled to take place between the hours of 7.30pm each evening and 5.00am each morning.

The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices. The Order will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months. This Order is known as “The County Council of The City and County of Cardiff (A48 Eastern Avenue, Cardiff) (Temporary Road Closures) Order 2024”.

Schedule

• A48 Eastern Avenue eastbound off slip road from its junction with the Gabalfa Interchange to the entrance to the University Hospital of Wales

The alternative route for vehicles affected by this closure will be via A470 North Road, A469 from gyratory onto Rhydhelig Avenue and King George V Drive West

• A48 Eastern Avenue in a westbound direction from the University Hospital of Wales A48 link bridge to its junction with the Gabalfa Interchange

The alternative route for vehicles affected by this closure will be Allensbank Road, Whitchurch Road, Beulah Road and the Gabalfa Roundabout
