Proposed Development At Weybridge Library, Church Street, Weybridge, KT13 8DE
SCC Property has applied to Surrey County Council for planning permission for change of existing library, museum, public hall (Use Class F1) and Brooklands Radio (Class E) to new community hub to include library with single storey infill extension (Use Class F1), youth support (Use Class F2), flexible community/ commercial including public hall (Use Class F1/E) plus external alterations to existing elevations, installation of photovoltaic panels and roof top plant and associated parking and landscaping without compliance with Conditions 2 (plans and drawings), 4 (Heritage and Archaeology), 6 (Drainage), 8 (Construction Traffic Management Plan), 10 (Parking and electric vehicle charging points), 11 (Landscape and Ecology Management Plan), 12 (Construction Environmental Management Plan), 15 (Trees), and 16 (Tree Protection) of planning permission Ref: EL/2023/2312 dated 14 December 2023 to enable amendments to the design of the external areas to the rear of the existing building, louvre arrangements across elevations and revised rooflight locations and roof access strategy.
