Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Castle Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 15m southeast of its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 55m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th September 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013311055 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Castle Road, Daws Heath Road, Eastwood Road, High Street, Castle Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 29th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Downer Road North, Thundersley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Downer Road North, Thundersley in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 25m northeast of its junction with Bread and Cheese Hill for a distance of approximately 40m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd September 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WFJV874G - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree cutting works are undertaken by Openreach.

The Order will come into effect on 29th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Dunton Road, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dunton Road, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 240m south east then north east of its junction with Brentwood Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a north easterly direction. (Parkstone Avenue, Thundersley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Parkstone Avenue, Thundersley in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 90m southwest of its junction with Kiln Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a southwesterly direction. (Various Roads, Castle Point) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (Streetworks No.2) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Castle Point, as detailed in the Schedule.
The works are scheduled to commence after 29th August 2024, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
