What is happening?

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON GRAVELEY LANE AND B197 HIGH STREET, GRAVELEY) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") will be:-

1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Graveley Lane, Graveley from its junction with B197 Jacks Hill north westwards for a distance of approximately 249m.

An alternative route will be via B197 (High Street/Graveley Road), A602 (Wymondley Bypass/Stevenage Road), Stevenage Road, Arch Road, Graveley Road and Graveley Lane.

2. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from being driven at a speed exceeding 30mph on that length of B197 High Street, Graveley from its junction with Graveley Lane south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Graveley Public Footpath No.018, a distance of approximately 238m, when signs are in place.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 31 August 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN BALDOCK, GRAVELEY AND STEVENAGE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. the westbound carriageway of A505 Baldock Bypass, Baldock from its junction with the B197 London Road roundabout south westwards and north westwards to its junction with the A1(M) (junction 9) roundabout, a distance of approximately 840m.

An alternative route will be via B197 (London Road/High Street), B656 (Hitchin Street/Letchworth Road/Baldock Road), A505 (Baldock Road/Hitchin Road/Cambridge Road/Nightingale Road/Bunyan Road/Fishpond Road/Bedford Road/Paynes Park), A602 (Park Way/Stevenage Road/Wymondley Bypass) and B197 (Graveley Road/High Street/Jacks Hill).

2. that length of B197 (Jacks Hill/High Street/Graveley Road), Graveley and B197 Graveley Road, Stevenage from its junction with A505 Baldock Bypass south westwards, south eastwards, south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with the A602 Wymondley Bypass/A1(M) (junction 8) roundabout, a distance of approximately 4345m.

An alternative route will be via B197 (London Road/High Street), B656 (Hitchin Street/Letchworth Road/Baldock Road), A505 (Baldock Road/Hitchin Road/ Cambridge Road/Nightingale Road/Bunyan Road/Fishpond Road/Bedford Road/Paynes Park) and A602 (Park Way/Stevenage Road/Wymondley Bypass) or via A602 (Wymondley Bypass/Stevenage Road/Park Way/Old Park Road), A505 (Bedford Road/Fishpond Road/Bunyan Road/Nightingale Road/ Cambridge Road/Hitchin Road/Baldock Road), B656 (Baldock Road/ Letchworth Road/Hitchin Street), B197 (High Street/London Road) and A505 Baldock Bypass or via A505 Baldock Bypass and the A1(M). The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN

MINERVA CLOSE, STEVENAGE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Minerva Close, Stevenage from a point in line with the southern boundary of No.38 Minerva Close north westwards for its entire length ("the Road").

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN A505 LETCHWORTH GATE, LETCHWORTH GARDEN CITY) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A505 Letchworth Gate, Letchworth Garden City from its junction with the A505 Baldock Road/Pixmore Way roundabout south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 534m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via B656 (Baldock Road/Letchworth Road/Hitchin Street), B197 (High Street/London Road) and A505 (Baldock Bypass/ Letchworth Gate).

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN WALLINGTON ROAD, BALDOCK) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Wallington Road, Baldock from its junction with Clothall Public Bridleway No.028 south eastwards and eastwards to its junction with Rushden and Wallington Public Bridleway No.047, a distance of approximately 2392m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Kits Lane, The Street, Manor Farm to Redhill Road, Redhill, C5 (unnamed road), A507 Clothall Road, B656 (Royston Road/ Royston Bypass Interchange with Wallington Road) and Wallington Road. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN THREE HOUSES LANE, CODICOTE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Three Houses Lane, Codicote from its junction with Codicote Road north eastwards to its junction with Rustling End, a distance of approximately 1762m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Whitwell Road, B656 Hitchin Road and Three Houses Lane.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A1155 ST GEORGES WAY, STEVENAGE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the southbound carriageway of A1155 St Georges Way, Stevenage from its junction with the A1155 Fairlands Way roundabout south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with the A602 Six Hills Way/A602 Monkswood Way roundabout, a distance of approximately 634m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via A1155 Fairlands Way, A602 Lytton Way and A602 Six Hills Way or via A1155 Fairlands Way, A602 (Lytton Way/Six Hills Way), Six Hills Way, Homestead Moat and Cuttys Lane. The Order is needed because culvert inspection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN CLOVELLY WAY AND SHEPHALL WAY, STEVENAGE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Clovelly Way, Stevenage from its junction with Blakeney Road south eastwards to its southernmost junction with Scarborough Avenue,

a distance of approximately 34m.

An alternative route will be via Clovelly Way and Scarborough Avenue.

2. that length of Shephall Way, Stevenage from its junction with Bandley Rise northwards to its junction with Hydean Way, a distance of approximately 47m. An alternative route will be via Bandley Rise, Fallowfield, Featherston Road and Shephall Way.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MANOR VIEW AND HOLLYSHAWS, STEVENAGE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"):-

1. that length of Manor View, Stevenage from a point 50m north east of its junction with Rookwood Drive north eastwards for a distance of approximately 35m.

An alternative route will be via Manor View, Rookwood Drive, Park View, Vallansgate and Manor View.

2. that length of Hollyshaws, Stevenage from its junction with Manor View north westwards for a distance of approximately 10m.

An alternative route will be via Manor View, Wood Drive and Hollyshaws.

The Order is needed because electrical service connection works are

proposed to be executed near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 September 2024 for a

period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take

effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PRIMETT ROAD, STEVENAGE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Primett Road, Stevenage from its southernmost junction with A602 Lytton Way north eastwards for a distance of approximately 54m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via A602 Lytton Way, Trinity Road, High Street, Drapers Way and Primett Road or via Primett Road and A602 Lytton Way. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 August 2024 for

a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only

take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MILL LANE, GOSMORE/ST IPPOLYTS) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Mill Lane, Gosmore/St Ippolyts from a point 50m north east of its junction with Mill Road north eastwards to its junction with B656 London Road, a distance of approximately 349m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Mill Lane, Hitchin Road, Gosmore Road and B656 London Road.

The Order is needed because the replacement of existing gas mains is

proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 19 August 2024 for

a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only

take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WYMONDLEY ROAD, HITCHIN) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Wymondley Road, Hitchin from its easternmost junction with Ninesprings Way eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with the St Michaels Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 232m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Wymondley Road, Highbury Road, Whitehill Road, Hollow Lane, B656 (Queen Street/Walsworth Road), A505 Cambridge Road and St Michaels Road or via St Michaels Road, A505 Cambridge Road, B656 (Walsworth Road/Queen Street), Hollow Lane and Wymondley Road. The Order is needed because bridge inspection works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 19 August 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. LITTLE ALMSHOE LANE, ST IPPOLYTS) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of road ("the lengths of Road"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Road whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Little Almshoe Lane, St Ippolyts from its junction with B656 London Road north eastwards, north westwards, north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Sperberry Hill, a distance of approximately 1236m.

An alternative route will be via B656 London Road and Sperberry Hill.

2. that length of Little Almshoe Lane, St Ippolyts from its junction with Tittendell Lane south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 496m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

3. that length of Little Almshoe Lane, St Ippolyts from its junction with Ippollitts Public Bridleway No.020 north westwards for a distance of approximately 190m.

However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
