Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Hockley in the District of Rochford, from its junction with St Peter’s Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th July 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30080343312 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Lower Road, Hullbridge Road, Down Hall Road, London Road, Station Road, Crown Hill, High Street, Hockley Road, High Road, Aldermans Hill, Folly Lane and vice versa (with access only into Church Road).
The Order will come into effect on 18th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hall Crescent, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from
the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hall Crescent, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th July 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30069540960 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while box replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via London Road, New Road and Commonhall Lane or Commonhall Lane, Falbro Crescent, Beresford Gardens, Rayleigh Road and London Road (with access only into Hall Crescent).
The Order will come into effect on 18th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Adelaide Gardens, South Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 80m south then south east of its junction with St Mary’s Drive for a distance of approximately 60m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th August 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WDJNV71P – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree cutting works are undertaken by Openreach.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Gardiners Lane North, Ramsden Crays in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with London Road to its junction with Southend Arterial Road a distance of approximately 1650m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th August 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2362827 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

The Order will come into effect on 18th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Harrow Road, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Harrow Road, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 145m west of its junction with School Lane for a distance of approximately 40m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th August 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M66378 – Essex And Suffolk Water). Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pipps Hill Road North, Ramsden Crays in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Wash Road for a distance of approximately 500m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th August 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP10000013770 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole bracket replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Barling Magna in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 330m north east of its junction Little Wakering Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd July 2024 for 14 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP0225S0-2189 – GTM). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new foul connection works are undertaken by GTM.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Vange in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 40m north of its junction with Osborne Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd July 2024 for 1 night (22:00-23:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL701FSS2-24-77-230724 – Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Streetworks No.2) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as detailed in the Schedule.
The works are scheduled to commence after 4th July 2024, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on One.Network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.
