Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices shall be served on Thursday 13 June 2024:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, to make the following traffic regulation Orders under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 1:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MIDSUMMER BOULEVARD, CENTRAL MILTON KEYNES – MIDSUMMER FESTIVAL 2024) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-1972)
The general effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicles from entering or proceeding along the following length of Roads whilst the Midsummer Festival takes place between the hours of 6.00 am on 23 June and 1.00 am on 24 June 2024:
• Midsummer Boulevard, Central Milton Keynes – From its junction with Marlborough Gate to the access road leading to the north-west and south-east vehicular accessways, approximately 170 metres south-west of its junction with Marlborough Gate.
• The north-west vehicular access way on Midsummer Boulevard between Marlborough Gate and Lower Twelfth Street.
• The south-east vehicular access way on Midsummer Boulevard between Marlborough Gate and Lower Twelfth Street.
Whilst the above lengths of road are closed. the alternative route will be via Secklow Gate, Silbury Boulevard and Marlborough Gate (and vice versa).

Public Notice for Controlled Pedestrian Crossings
The following public notices shall be served on Thursday 13 June 2024:
PUBLIC NOTICE 2:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CONTROLLED TOUCAN CROSSINGS) (B4034 BUCKINGHAM ROAD, BLETCHLEY) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council proposes to establish two controlled (toucan) crossings on B4043 Buckingham Road between A421 Standing Way and Windmill Hill Drive, under section 23(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the Act).
Milton Keynes City Council is now carrying out statutory consultation on the above proposal. Copies of the proposed Order, together with plans showing the general arrangements and a statement of reason, may be inspected on the Council’s website at: www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/consultations.
Any representations or objections to the proposals, together with the grounds upon which they are made, must be made in writing and sent to the Council’s Traffic Regulation Order Team at Milton Keynes City Council, Civic Offices, 1 Saxon Gate East, Central Milton Keynes, MK9 3EJ, or by email to TROteam@milton-keynes.gov.uk quoting reference NTO-050 and to be received no later than 04 July 2024. Any representations received will be taken into consideration before the implementation of the scheme.
