What is happening?

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN LEGGATTS CLOSE, WATFORD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Leggatts Close, Watford from its junction with Leggatts Way south westwards and north westwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HORSESHOE LANE, WATFORD) ORDER NO.2 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Horseshoe Lane, Watford from its junction with The Glebe south eastwards for a distance of approximately 30m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Horseshoe Lane, High Road, A405 North Orbital Road and Horseshoe Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 June 2024 for a period

of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the

times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN THE DRIVE, RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of The Drive, Rickmansworth from its junction with Nightingale Road north westwards to its junction with Winchfield Way, a distance of approximately 215m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via Nightingale Road, A412 Uxbridge Road, Field Way, Berry Lane, Valley Road and The Drive.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 24 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN HUNTON BRIDGE AND WOODSIDE)

ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"):-

1. that length of A41 (Hempstead Road/Watford Road), Hunton Bridge from its junction with the A41 North Western Avenue/M25 (junction 19) roundabout north eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 250m.

An alternative route will be via A41 North Western Avenue, A405 (North Orbital Road/St Albans Road/North Orbital Road), A5183 (Watling Street/St Stephens Hill/ Holywell Hill/High Street/Verulam Road/Folly Lane/Redbourn Road), A4147 (Bluehouse Hill/Hemel Hempstead Road/Leverstock Green Road/Leverstock Green Way), A414 (St Albans Road/Two Waters Road/Two Waters Way), A4251 (London Road/Hempstead Road/High Street/Watford Road) and A41 Watford Road.

2. that length of Old Mill Lane, Hunton Bridge from its junction with A41 Watford Road north eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 45m. An alternative route will be via A41 Watford Road, Bridge Road and Old Mill Road.

3. the A41 eastbound slip road leading onto the A405 North Orbital Road/High Road roundabout, Woodside from its westernmost junction with A41 North Western Avenue north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 209m. An alternative route will be via A41 (North Western Avenue/Gadeside), the A41 Gadeside/ Aerodrome Way roundabout and A41 (Gadeside/North Western Avenue). The Order is needed because utility works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 9 June 2024 for a period

of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the

times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A412 ST ALBANS ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A412 St Albans Road, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road north eastwards, northwards and north eastwards to its junction with Lowestoft Road, a distance of approximately 183m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Leavesden Road, Lowestoft Road and A412 St Albans Road.

The Order is needed because the installation of a new utility pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 9 June 2024 for a period

of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the

times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HILFIELD LANE, ALDENHAM) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hilfield Lane, Aldenham from a point 63m south east of its junction with Palomino Place south eastwards for a distance of approximately 51m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Hilfield Lane, B462 Hartspring Lane, A41 Elton Way, Sandy Lane and Hilfield Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 10 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B4542 Little Oxhey Lane, South Oxhey/Carpenters Park from its junction with Altham Way north eastwards to its junction with St Georges Drive, a distance of approximately 317m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via B4542 (Little Oxhey Lane/Prestwick Road/The Woods), A4125 (Sandy Lane/Watford Road), B469 Green Lane, A4125 (Church Road/High Street), A404 (Pinner Road/Rickmansworth Road/Pinner Green/Uxbridge Road), A410 Uxbridge Road, A4008 Oxhey Lane and B4542 Little Oxhey Lane, or via B4542 Little Oxhey Lane, A4008 (Oxhey Lane/Pinner Road), A411 Chalk Hill, A4008 (Aldenham Road/Pinner Road/Oxhey Lane), A410 Uxbridge Road, A404 (Uxbridge Road/ Pinner Green/Rickmansworth Road/Pinner Road), A4125 (High Street/Church Road), B469 Green Lane, A4125 (Watford Road/Sandy Lane) and B4542 (The Woods/ Prestwick Road/Little Oxhey Lane).

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"):-

1. that length of Fuller Road, Watford from its junction with Chestnut Walk south eastwards to its junction with Middle Way, a distance of approximately 194m. An alternative route will be via Chestnut Walk, The Harebreaks and Middle Way.

2. that length of Fuller Road, Watford from its junction with Middle Way south eastwards to its junction with Longspring, a distance of approximately 198m. An alternative route will be via Middle Way, The Harebreaks and Longspring.

3. that length of Fuller Road, Watford from its junction with Longspring south eastwards to its junction with St Georges Road, a distance of approximately 191m. An alternative route will be via Longspring, The Harebreaks and St Georges Road.

4. that length of Woodside, Watford from its junction with Chestnut Walk north westwards for a distance of approximately 77m.

The Order is needed because the replacement of existing gas mains is proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 10 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B5378 GREEN STREET, BOREHAMWOOD/SHENLEY)

ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B5378 Green Street, Borehamwood/Shenley from its junction with Stapleton Road north westwards, north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with B5378 Woodhall Lane, a distance of approximately 1385m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via B5378 (Green Street/Cowley Hill/Shenley Road/ Elstree Way), Rowley Lane, Well End Road, High Canons, Silver Hill, London Road and B5378 Woodhall Lane or via B5378 Woodhall Lane, London Road, Silver Hill, High Canons, Well End Road, A5135 (Rowley Lane/Elstree Way) and B5378 Shenley Road/Cowley Hill/Green Street).

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 10 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
