What is happening?

Somerset Council Parish of Otterford Temporary Closure of Royston Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Royston Road - from the junction with Bodleys Lane, westwards for a total distance of 893 metres. This Order will enable Utility Services Ltd to replace 2 poles on behalf of Openreach.

The Order becomes effective on 6th June 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 12th June 2024 and last until 13th June 2024 between the hours of 08:00 -16:30 for a total of 2 days.
