What is happening?

LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(STAMFORD – PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY 14 & 15)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the powers conferred by Sections 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has consented to the Lincolnshire County Council (Stamford – Public Right of Way 14 & 15) (Temporary Restriction to Traffic) Order 2023 which came into force on 27 November 2023 being extended and continuing in force until 25 July 2025 or until the completion of the works,
whichever is the sooner.. The closure is required to reduce the likelihood of danger to the public whilst works are in progress in proximity to the right of way. The effect of the Order will be to close Public Right of Way 14 & 15
to all users. Stamford PROW 14 (closed between Kettering Road & St Michaels Fields) Stamford PROW 15 (closed between Kettering Road & a point 155m South) The alternative route for users will be signed on site. The restriction shall only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO TRAFFIC
(TALLINGTON – BAINTON ROAD)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order on Bainton Road to allow for works to be carried out on or adjacent to the road. The effect of the Order will be to impose the temporary traffic
restrictions on the roads as specified in the Schedule. The Order will come into operation on 20 May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months or the completion of the works whichever is the sooner. The works are expected to commence on or about 20 May 2024 and continue for approximately 5 days. Access will be maintained to properties on the affected length of road but may be subject to delays. The restriction shall only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General
Directions 2016. An alternative route for vehicles will be signed. SCHEDULE – Road Closure Order – Bainton Road (Between A1175 & a point 250m South)

(STAMFORD – BROAD STREET)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order on Broad Street to allow for works to be carried out on or adjacent to the road. The effect of the Order will be to impose the temporary traffic
restrictions on the roads as specified in the Schedule. The Order will come into operation on 21 May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months or the completion of the works whichever is the sooner. The works are expected to commence on or about 21 May 2024 and continue for approximately 3 days. Access will be maintained to properties on the affected length of road but may be subject to delays. The restriction shall only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General
Directions 2016. An alternative route for vehicles will be signed. SCHEDULE – Road Closure Order – Broad Street (Between Ironmonger Street & Newgates)

(STAMFORD – ST PETERS HILL)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL intends to make an Order on St Peters Hill to allow for works to be carried out on or adjacent to the road. The effect of the Order will be to impose the temporary traffic restrictions on the roads as specified in the Schedule. The Order will come into operation on 27 May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months or the completion of the works whichever is the sooner. The works are expected to commence on or about 27 May 2024 and continue for approximately 5 days. Access will be maintained to properties on the affected length of road but may be subject to delays. The restriction shall only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. An alternative route for vehicles will be signed. SCHEDULE – Road Closure Order – St Peters Hill (Between St Peters Street & Austin Street)
