What is happening?

THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(RESIDENTS’ PARKING ZONE B, COBDEN ROAD, CHESTERFIELD)
(AMENDMENT) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that, on 28th March 2024 the Derbyshire County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.The Order will come into operation on 8th April 2024 and its effect is:
PROPOSED NO WAITING AT ANY TIME
Cobden Road
North-West Side - From a point 119 metres south of its junction with the B6051 Newbold Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 7.5 metres.
PERMIT HOLDERS ONLY ZONE B MONDAY TO SATURDAY, 8AM TO 6PM
Cobden Road
North-West Side - From a point 126.5 metres south of its junction with the B6051 Newbold Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 33.5 metres.
Any permanent Traffic Regulation Orders made prior to this Order, insofar as they relate to the lengths of road listed above, will be revoked.
Exemptions will be made for vehicles used in connection with any building operation or demolition; removal of any obstruction to traffic; carrying out of statutory powers or duties taking in petrol etc, from any garage situated within the lengths of road; or as part of a funeral or wedding cortege. The usual exemptions for disabled persons’ vehicles will also apply.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the offices of the Derbyshire County Council, Main Reception, County Hall, Matlock between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday and at Chesterfield Central Studies Library, New Beetwell Street, Chesterfield, S40 1QN or upon request by emailing Place.PermanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk until 6 weeks after the Order is made, until the 9th May 2024.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the ground that a requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the 28th March 2024 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
