What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF HAVERING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Havering proposes to make amendments to the following Orders as follows under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HAVERING (PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED) (AMENDMENT No.*) ORDER 202*

a) Introduce no waiting at any time restrictions

i) On the south-eastern side of Parkside Avenue, between Pettits Lane and the north-easternmost junction of Fontayne Avenue

ii) On Ascot Gardens, to cover the raised kerb areas between Nos.5 and 7, 7 and 9 and 9 and 11.

iii) On Cherry Tree Close outside No.1, removing the footway parking bay

iv) On Cherry Tree Close around the apex of the bend at No.38

b) Introduce a Disabled persons parking bay on:

i) Askwith Road outside No.1A

ii) Mowbrays Road outside No.86

iii) Betony Road to the side of No.55 Lucerne Way

iv) Taunton Road outside No.12

v) Brockley Crescent outside No.58

vi) Kingshill Avenue outside No.51

vii) Veronica Close outside Nos.25 to 30

viii) Bedale Road outside No.24

ix) Newbury Close fronting No.41

x) Plumpton Avenue outside No.6

xi) Preston Road outside No.73

xii) Briar Road outside No.35 Tayberry Court

xiii) Harrow Crescent outside No.40

xiv) Ashmour Gardens outside No.32

xv) Wantz Lane outside No.11

c) Remove a Disabled parking bay on:

i) Portmore Gardens outside No.2

ii) Cromer Road, Hornchurch, outside No.63

d) Change existing disabled persons parking bays into dedicated disabled persons parking bay in the turning head of Wednesbury Road

e) Remove a section of residents parking bay (ROS Zone) and install a Disabled persons parking bay outside No.69 Sheringham Avenue

f) Removal of a disabled persons parking bay outside No.19 Grosvenor Road and reinstatement of the permit parking area (R07 Zone)

g) Removal of a disabled persons parking bay outside No.5 Pretoria Road and reinstatement of a residents parking bay (R02B Zone)

h) Removal of a residents parking bay outside No.27 Athelstan Road and the introduction of Monday to Friday 10.30am to 11.30am waiting restrictions

i) Introduction of Monday to Saturday 9am to 10am waiting restrictions in Redriff Road to the front of The Church of the Good Shepherd

j) Introduction of Monday to Saturday 10am to 11am waiting restrictions in

Redriff Road to the side of No.99 Collier Row Lane

k) Removal of the Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm waiting restriction in Cherry Tree Close, to the side of No.77 Rainham Road, and the extension

of the footway parking bay I) Extension of the no waiting at any time restrictions;

i) on Burwood Gardens either side of the no waiting restrictions in the turning head

ii) on Cherry Walk, on its south-eastern side, from its junction with Rainham Road to outside No.2 Faray Terrace and on its north-western side, from its junction with Rainham Road to the common boundary of Nos.2 and 4

iii) on Cherry Tree Close to the side of No.75 Rainham Road, removing the footway parking bay

Any objections or other representations about any of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Highways Traffic and Parking Group Manager Havering Town Hall, Main Road, Romford RM1 3BB until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
