DRIVING) ORDER
2024 (A24-014)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that the Nottinghamshire
County Council intends not
less than seven days from the
date of this Notice to make an
Order, under Section 14(1) of
the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984, as amended, in
respect of roads at Annesley
Woodhouse & Kirkby in
Ashfield in the District of
Ashfield.
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited
from proceeding in the
following length of road
a. A611 Derby Road,
Annesley Woodhouse - from
its junction with School Hill
in a northerly direction for a
distance of100 metres.
b. B6021 Shoulder of
Mutton Hill, Kirkby in
Ashfield (south-east bound
only) - from its junction with
Nottingham Road to its junction
with A611 Derby Road.
c. B6021 Nottingham Road,
Kirkby in Ashfield - from its
junction with North Street to
its junction with Shoulder of
Mutton Hill.
2. Vehicles are prohibited
from turning right in the
following length of road-
Nuncargate Road - right Hand
Turn Lane onto Shoulder of
Mutton Hill
3. Vehicles are prohibited
from turning left in the
following length of road-
North Street - left Hand Turn
Lane onto Nottingham Road
1. All existing permanent
restrictions will be temporarily
suspended as required.
2. The restrictions specified
above shall only be in effect
when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the
prohibitions respecting the
above road or roads will apply
as follows:
From 08:00 hours on
Saturday 10th February 2024
Until 18:00 hours on Sunday
14th April 2024
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY
FURTHER GIVEN that during
the period of restriction the
alternative route available
will be:
A611 Derby Road Diversion
Route - Forest Road - Skegby
Road - Main Road - Nuncargate
Road - B6021 Shoulder of
Mutton Hill and vice versa.
B6021 Shoulder of Mutton
Hill Diversion Route - A611
Derby Road - B6020 Diamond
Avenue - B6021 Kingsway and
vice versa.
The Order will come into force
on Saturday 10th February
2024 and any prohibition in
it shall apply on that day and
any subsequent day when
necessary to enable works
to be carried out. The Order
shall continue in force until the
works are completed (within a
maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to
enable Cadent Gas to carry out
gas mains replacement works;
