Notice of Proposed Pedestrian Crossing
(Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cornwall Council, in exercise of its powers under
Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to establish a new
Toucan Crossing in Helston in order to assist pedestrians and cyclists to safely
access a new housing development on the east-side of Clodgey Lane. Details of the
proposed crossing are given below.
Further details, including a drawing of the proposed crossing, are available for public
inspection during normal office hours at Reception, New County Hall, Treyew Road,
Truro, TR1 3AY. Alternatively, please telephone 01872 327250 or email
traffic@cormacltd.co.uk to obtain further information. Please quote reference

Comments of support, objections or any other representations, must be sent in writing,
with objections specifying the grounds on which they are made, to Corserv Solutions
Ltd, Infrastructure Design Group, Radnor Road, Scorrier, Redruth, TR16 5EH. Any
representations must be received no later than the 16th February 2024 Alternatively, you
