(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF 3U42 (UNNAMED ROAD), GREEN TYE) ORDER NO.3 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of 3U42 (unnamed road), Green Tye from a point 160m north eastwards of its junction with Stansted Hill north eastwards, south eastwards and eastwards for a distance of approximately 200m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via 3U42 (unnamed road), Stansted Hill, Danebridge Road, B1004 Great Hadham Road, Areodrome Road and 3U42 (unnamed road). The Order is needed because gas service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 January 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A1250 HADHAM ROAD, BISHOPS STORTFORD) ORDER NO.2
2023 NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the westbound carriageway of A1250 Hadham Road, Bishops Stortford from its junction with the B1004 Northgate End/A1250 Link Road roundabout south westwards to its junction with B1529 North Street, a distance of approximately 88m (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via A1250 (Link Road/The Causeway/Hockerill Street/Dunmow Road), A120 Bishops Stortford Bypass and A1250 Hadham Road. The Order is needed because utility disconnection works are proposed to be executed near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BROOKFIELDS, SAWBRIDGEWORTH) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Brookfields, Sawbridgeworth from a point 50m north east of its junction with Brook Lane north eastwards and south eastwards for its entire length (“the Road”), except for access. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 9 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF STATION ROAD, SAWBRIDGEWORTH) ORDER NO.2 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Station Road, Sawbridgeworth from a point 180m north east of its junction with The Forebury north eastwards for a distance of approximately 47m (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via Station Road, A1184 (London Road/ Bonks Hill/Harlow Road/Cambridge Road), A414 (unnamed road), A1025 (Mandela Avenue/Gilden Way/ unnamed road), Sheering Lower Road, Sawbridgeworth Road and Station Road. The Order is needed because railway track inspection works are proposed to be executed near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 14 December 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN DOLPHIN WAY, BISHOPS STORTFORD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Dolphin Way, Bishops Stortford from its junction with Kingsbridge Road north westwards and south westwards for its entire length (“the Road”), except for access. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 December 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. A copy of the proposed Orders may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9am and 5pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
