(CONSOLIDATION)(MAP BASED)(AMENDMENT No 19) ORDER 2023

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 24th August 2023 the Council of the London Borough of Havering did make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to:-PT01192

a) Prohibition of motor vehicles except solo motor cycles except for access on South Street from its junction with Victoria Road.

b) Amend the existing restricted parking zone to restricted parking zone (no waiting at any time) except in signed bays on South Street from outside No 139/143 to the rear of the flank wall of No 89 South Street and into the junction of Havana Close.

c) Prohibition of motor vehicles except solo motorcycles except buses, taxis and for loading by goods vehicles from outside No 139/143 South Street.

d) Havana Close no entry except cycles from its junction with Exchange Street.

e) Installation of an advisory contra flow cycle lane in Havana Close along the flank wall of No 106 South Street.

f) Existing taxi bay in Havana Close to be relocated towards its junction with South Street and replaced with no waiting and no loading at any time restrictions.

g) Extension of no loading at any time restrictions in the contra flow cycle lane in Havana Close.

h) Installation of no loading at any time restrictions in Havana Close from the motorcycle bay to its junction with South Street.

i) Installation of a mandatory contra flow cycle lane on South Street from its junction with Havana Close to outside No 131 South Street.

j) Amendment to existing loading bay on South Street outside No 112/116 to goods vehicles loading only, 1 hour no return within 2 hours.

k) Taxi bay outside No 6 Eastern Road to be removed and replaced with no waiting or loading at any time restrictions.

I) Extension of existing taxi bay outside No 12/16 Eastern Road, removing existing waiting restrictions.

m) Installation of the no loading restrictions on Eastern Road from its junction with Chandlers Way to outside No 3/5.

n) Removal of part of the existing waiting and loading restrictions on Chandlers Way near to its junction with Eastern Road.

o) No entry except for cycles from South Street into Eastern Road.

1. The general effect of the Orders will be:-

a. to change existing no entry on Eastern Road near to its junction with Chandlers Way to prohibition of motor vehicles except buses and taxis.

b. to install a motorcycle bay maximum stay 1 hour, no return within 15 minutes in Havana Close.

c. to amend the existing taxi bay in Eastern Road outside No 2/4 and amend the existing no waiting at any time restrictions around the taxi bay and installation of no loading at any time restrictions.

Any objections or other representations about any of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Highways Traffic and Parking Group Manager Havering Town Hall, Main Road, Romford RM1 3BB or emailed to Schemes@havering.gov.uk until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
