Change Of Published Admission Number Of The Rackham Church Of England Primary School, 79 Main Street, Witchford, Ely, CB7 4RB

The County Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to The Rackham C of E Primary School with effect from 1st September 2027.

It is proposed to increase the Published Admission Number (PAN) from 45 to 60. The Rackham C of E Primary School currently offers 315 places to children age 4-11 years, 45 per year group.

The school would like to offer 420 places, 60 per year group, beginning with the September 2027 Reception intake. To enable this increase, Cambridgeshire County Council are in the process of applying for planning permission to expand the physical capacity of the buildings currently on-site.

To formally make this change it is necessary to change the PAN of the school. This will not affect children already attending the school. The proposal will also generate an additional 26 Early Year places on the school site.

The consultation period will run from 10/11/2025 to 08/12/2025. A public consultation event will be held virtually, via Microsoft Teams on 01/11/2025.
