2. (VARIOUS ROADS – VALE OF WHITE HORSE DISTRICT EXCLUDING
THE PARISH OF NORTH HINKSEY) (MAP BASED) (PROHIBITION AND
RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PERMITTED PARKING) (VARIATION NO.18) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 10 November 2025 Oxfordshire County
Council made the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
and all other powers The Orders, which come into force on 17 November further amend the Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads – South Oxfordshire) (Map Based) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2021, and the Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads – Vale of White Horse District excluding the Parish of North Hinksey) (Map Based) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2021, with the effect of removing Disabled Persons Parking Places (DPPPs) as shown in A below, providing new DPPPs as shown in B and formalising advisory DPPPs as shown in C.
A. Removal of Disabled Persons Parking Places:
(i) Abingdon, Lenthall Road adjacent to No.22 Darrell Way,
(ii) Ashbury, Pound Piece opposite No.28 (HI17),
(ii) Grove, White Horse Crescent, outside No. 46 (GU42),
(iv) Wallingford, Radnor Road outside No. 47 (GV82) and
(v) Wantage, Orchard Way outside No. 12 (HB44).
B. New Disabled Persons Parking Places:
SOUTH OXFORDSHIRE and VALE OF WHITE HORSE (see attached pdf for details)
C. Formalisations:
Brightwell-Cum-Sotwell, Greenmere – North side (two places) adjacent to
No. 68 in layby, and Henley, Gainsborough Crescent – West side (southern
parking place of the two places) outside No. 45.

Copies may be made available on request. If you wish to question the validity of this Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within six weeks from 10 November 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
