ADOPTION NOTICE
Under the powers of the said Act, the following changes were adopted
on the 21st October 2025 to the Sculcoates Conservation Area:
•A Character Appraisal and Management Plan.
•The removal of the following areas of land from the designated
boundary of the Conservation Area:
– All residential properties and adjoining land forming Nos. 1-51
(cont.) Abbey Way and Nos.1-107 (cont.) Needlers Way.
– Industrial land and buildings to the east of the Beverley & Barmston
Drain and to the west of Holmes Hall Processors.
– The area of land to the north of Bankside Park forming
the Travellers Site.
•The addition the following area of land to the designated boundary
of the Conservation Area:
– The section of land forming the Beverley & Barmston Drain
extending from Lockwood Street Bridge to its confluence with the
River Hull.
