What is planned?

COUNCIL HOUSE BUILDING – FORMER STANECASTLE SCHOOL, IRVINE

North Ayrshire Council is planning to develop new homes on the site of the Former Stanecastle School in Irvine.

The Council is holding a consultation event to allow local people and interested parties to view the final plans and ‘Meet the Builder’ for the development. You can view the final plans online until Friday 19 January 2024 at: http://northayrshire.community/stanecastle-irvine-final-plansmeet-the-builder-event/55790/
The Council is also holding a local, in person, event on:
Date: Thursday 18 January 2024
Time: Between 4pm – 6pm
Venue: Lanfine Community Centre, Irvine, KA11 1BH
To book your place at the event, please email developmentandstrategy@north-ayrshire.gov.uk or telephone 01294 324031.
The purpose of this event is to allow interested people to:
• Obtain information about the project;
• View the final site plans and house designs; and
• Discuss any concerns about the building works with the contractor.
The Council has obtained a ‘Certificate of Lawfulness’ from the Council’s Planning Service to certify that the site has been considered against the full terms of the adopted Local Development Plan.
