DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (HAVERSHAM FOOTPATH 50) DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2025
On the 17th April 2025, Milton Keynes City Council confirmed without modification the above Order made under Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The Order will come into effect on the 24th April 2025.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding to them a public footpath commencing from a junction with Brookfield Road at OS grid reference 481661 242720 (point A on order plan) in a west north westerly direction for approximately 10 metres to OS grid reference 481652 242724 (point B on order plan) then in a generally north north easterly direction for approximately 267 metres to OS grid reference 481685 242986 (point C on order plan) , as shown by a bold black dashed line on the map.
The route will have a width of 1.5 metres throughout.

and on public display within a window marked Public Notices, located to the far left of the frontage of Milton Keynes City Council, Civic Offices, 1 Saxon Gate East, Milton Keynes. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased at the price of £3.00 by writing to Legal Services, Milton Keynes City Council, Civic, 1 Saxon Gate East, Milton Keynes, MK9 3EJ, enclosing a cheque made payable to Milton Keynes City Council. Please quote reference PE-ZD-33446.
If a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of Section 53 of the Act, or that any requirements of Schedule 15 of the Act have not been complied with in relation to it, he or she may, within 6 weeks of the date of publication of this Notice under paragraph 11 make an application to the High Court.
