Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 sections 16A – C as inserted by the Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1994 section 1.
Kent County Council intends to temporarily close Public Footpaths KH236A and KH308 between Leeds and Broomfield Cricket Ground, NGR TQ 830 532 and Broomfield Road from 10:00 on Saturday 13 July to 22:00 on Sunday 14 July 2024.
The paths will be closed to facilitate the holding of the Leeds Castle Open Air Concert 2024.
Safe and convenient alternative routes are available. The alternative routes that can be used by pedestrians are from the cricket pitch to Ashford Road via Public Footpath KH239, and from Burberry Lane to Broomfield Road via Public Footpaths KH238 and KH237.

NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER

(PUBLIC FOOTPATH KM209 (PART) YALDING) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT ORDER 2023
On the 28th day of May 2024, the Kent County Council confirmed the above-named Order under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to: Divert: The entire width of that length of Public Footpath KM209 commencing from a point on Emmet Hill Lane (D621) situated to the south of the property shown as Brickfield Cottages, Laddingford in the Parish of Yalding at NGR TQ 6982 4785 (Point B) and running for approximately 111 metres in a generally westerly through west-south westerly direction to NGR TQ 6971 4783 (Point A) and the connection with the unaffected length of the path. As shown between the points B and A on the Order Plan. And will provide: A new length of Footpath to be numbered KM209 and with a width of 3.0 metres, commencing at a new point on Emmet Hill Lane (D621) NGR TQ 6980 4775 (Point C) approximately 110 metres to the south of the aforementioned Point B and running for approximately 126 metres in a generally north-westerly direction to rejoin the unaffected length of the path at the afore mentioned Point A NGR TQ 6971 4783. Between the points C and A on the Order Plan.

The Order comes into force on the 28th day of May 2024, but if a person aggrieved by the Orders wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act which has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, he or she may under Paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by Paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the 14th day of June 2024, make an application to the High Court.

DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT FOR THE COUNTY OF KENT
THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH ZR88 (PART) IWADE)
DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2023
On the 24th Day of May 2024, the Kent County Council confirmed the above Order under Section 53 of the Wildlife and Country side Act 1981 and will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by deleting that length of Public Footpath numbered ZR88 with a width of 6 feet (1.829 metres), which is shown commencing at NGR TQ9180 6882 (Point A) and running across the sea wall in a northerly direction for 7 metres to then run in a north-westerly direction for 355 metres over the salting at the bottom and then to the northern side of the sea wall to NGR TQ9149 6898 (Point B), and then in a north-north-westerly direction for 217 metres to NGR TQ9137 6916 (Point C). As shown in a solid line between the points A, B and C on the Order Plan.
The effect of the Order is also to add a length of Public Footpath numbered ZR88, with a width of 2.5 metres, which commences on the sea wall at NGR TQ9180 6882 (Point A) and runs on top of the sea wall in a west-north-westerly direction for 165 metres to NGR TQ9165 6889 (Point D), then in a north-westerly direction for 190 metres to NGR TQ 9148 6897 (Point E), and then in a north-north-westerly direction for 222 metres to NGR TQ 9137 6916 (Point F). As shown by bold black dashes between the points A, D, E and F on the Order Plan.

The Order became operative on the 24 th day of May 2024 but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validity thereof or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Section 53(3)(c)(i) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or that any of the requirements of Schedule 15 to the Act have not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he may, under Paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 42 days from the 14 th day of June 2024 make application for the purpose to the High Court.

Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath ZS38 between its junction with Public Footpaths ZS36 & ZS37 and Public Footpath ZS41 between Harty Ferry Road and its junction with ZS38 from the 14 June 2024.
The paths will be closed for a maximum of six months.
The paths are closed because works are planned on or near them.
The alternative route is via Public Footpath ZS37 and will be signed for the duration of the closure.

Notice of the making of an Order to temporarily close Public Footpath MR492 in the Parish of Ditton In The Borough of Tonbridge & Malling

Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath MR492 between Station Road and the junction with Public Footpath MR491 from the 19 June 2024.
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months.
The path is closed because works are planned on or near it.
The alternative route is the pavement alongside Station Road and Footpath MR491 and will be signed for the duration of the closure.
