NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
Edleston Road/Electricity Street, Crewe
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect
of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Edleston Road (Southbound), Crewe – From the junction of Oak Street to the
junction of Electricity Street.
Electricity Street (Eastbound), Crewe – For its full extent.
For diversions and specific dates please visit One.Network.
This order will come into operation on Saturday 21 October 2023 and will continue in force for 18 months
or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is
anticipated that the works will be completed by Monday 13 November 2023.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
Welsh Row, Nantwich
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect
of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Welsh Row, Nantwich – From the junction of St Annes Lane to the junction
of First Wood Street.
The alternative route will be via Waterlode, Welsh Row and vice versa which is considered the most
suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Friday 20 October 2023 and will continue in force for 18 months
or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is
anticipated that the works will be completed by Monday 30 October 2023.

effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Delamere Road, Nantwich – For its full extent.
Marlowe Drive, Nantwich – For its full extent.
Mayflower Road, Nantwich – For its full extent.
Parkfield Drive, Nantwich – For its full extent.
Pine Walk, Nantwich – For its full extent.
Rookery Drive, Nantwich – For its full extent.
St Albans Drive, Nantwich – For its full extent.

Woore Road, Audlem/Buerton
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the
effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Woore Road, Audlem/Buerton – For its full extent.
The alternative route will be via Woore Road, Stafford Street, Cheshire Street, Audlem Road, Bridgemere
Lane, Crewe Road, Broad Lane, Peter De Stapleigh Way, London Road, Nantwich Road and vice versa which
is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Friday 20 October 2023 and will continue in force for 18 months
or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is
anticipated that the works will be completed by Wednesday 31 January 2024.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PEDESTRIANS
Public Footpath No. 35 and No. 36 (Part) Town of Sandbach
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (2) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire East Borough
Council will make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following:
That length of Public Footpath No. 35 in the Town of Sandbach which commences at OS grid reference
(OSGR) SJ 7384 6198 and runs in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 52 metres to
OSGR SJ 7388 6195.
That length of Public Footpath No. 36 in the Town of Sandbach which commences at OSGR SJ 7388 6195 and
runs in a generally south easterly then easterly direction for approximately 47 metres to OSGR SJ 7392 6193
The closure is necessary to protect the public from danger while the railway bridge is replaced.
The Order will come into force on 23 October 2023 and will continue in force for a period of six months,
or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
An alternative route is available via the highway network.
