Notice of application for a full licence 
to abstract (take) water

Les Lions Farm Limited have applied to the Environment Agency for two licences.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is for two full licences to abstract water from The Cut and land drains at Ascot Road, Holyport, Maidenhead.

The application is to abstract water as follows: 
• 36 cubic metres an hour • 864 cubic metres a day 
• 17,000 cubic metres a year • between 01 April and 31 March inclusive in each year.

The water will be used for storage for the purpose of spray irrigation of a Polo Field. 

Further details are: The quantity will be aggregated between the two licence up to a total of 17,000 cubic metres per year.
