Bremis Road, Dunster, Somerset - Temporary Closure due to new water connection
What is happening?
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Bremis Road - from the junction with Conygar View, westwards for a total distance of 22 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out new connection works. The Order becomes effective on 1st August 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months.
The works are expected to commence on 4th August 2025 and last until 8th August 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
