Wharfside, Temporary Road Closure Due To Rail Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Lympsham Temporary Closure of Wharfside
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Wharfside - from the junction with Batch Lane, north-westwards for a total distance of 385 metres. This Order will enable Morgan Sindall to remove and replace deck plates on behalf of Network Rail.
The Order becomes effective on 24th June 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 30th June 2025 and last until 26th September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 89 days.
