Public Path Creation Agreement

Section 25 Highways Act 1980
Public Bridleway LA21/47 Yatton
The above-named Agreement made on 30 November 2024 under section 25 of the Highways Act 1980, had the effect of creating a public bridleway by agreement with one landowner. The bridleway commences at Grid Ref ST 41562 67013 and proceeds in a northwesterly direction for approximately 19m to Grid Ref ST 41546 67022, then north north west direction for approximately 19m to Grid Ref ST 41536 67038, then west by south for approximately 37m to Grid Ref ST 41504 67026. This bridleway is to be known as Bridleway LA21/47 and is depicted upon the attached map. The agreement will achieve the benefit of creating a public bridleway and provide connectivity to the newly confirmed connection from Arnolds Way which upon transfer to North Somerset will be dedicated as a Bridleway and Duck Lane. There has been no compensation paid, offered or agreed. The Agreement has taken immediate effect.

Notice of Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which will be:
Byway Open to all Traffic LA19/82 Greatstones Lane, Winford, North Somerset
Temporary Prohibition of Use by all Traffic including Pedestrians, Cyclist, Horses and Motorised Vehicles Order 2025
Date coming into Force: 7 July 2025
Ref: LA19/82 Greatstones Lane
Will be to close, temporarily, to pedestrians, cyclists, horses and motorised vehicles the length of Byway specified in the Schedule to this notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access and works vehicles, works and works for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of Byway.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public whilst pre permit work by North Somerset Council is undertaken. The Byway is uneven and obstructed by large fallen tree. This order will become operative on the 7 July 2025 for a maximum period of six months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 14 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Bristol Water to install ducting. This order will become operative on the 28 July 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 21 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

This order will become operative on the 29 July 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 6 hours in duration, between 9.30am and 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Bristol Water to connect new water main. This order will become operative on the 5 August 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 3 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, has extended the effect of which will be to:
Will be to close, temporarily, to pedestrians, cyclists, horses and motorised vehicles the length of Footpaths specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of footpath.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon works by North Somerset Council to implement a cycle route. This order which came into force on 6 January 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months and can be extended for 6 further months under section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The closure is anticipated to be of 8 months in duration and the extended closure will be in place until 25 December 2025. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.
