Barford Road, Enmore - Temporary Road Closure due to Overhead Cabling Works

Temporary Closure of Barford Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Barford Road - from the junction with Pightley Lane, southwards for a total distance of 489 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out overhead cabling works.

The Order becomes effective on 17th June 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 24th June 2025 and last until 24th June 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
