Marshway And Rock Road - Temporary Closure To Fibre Cable Installation Works

Temporary Closure of Marshway and Rock Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Marshway - from the junction with Helliars Way to the junction with Rockway; and Rock Road - from the junction with Rockway to the junction with Marshway. A total distance of 771 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex internet to carry out fibre cable installation works.
The Order becomes effective on 19th June 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 23rd June 2025 and last until 27th June 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
