Bristol Road - Temporary Closure For Pre-Surface Dressing Patching Works

Temporary Closure of Bristol Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under
Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Bristol Road - from 235 metres east of the junction with Kingsway, north-eastwards for a total distance of 842 metres.
This Order will enable Kiely Bros to carry out pre-surface dressing patching works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
Solid diamond symbolization to be used on diversion route and will not clash with any other Kiely Bros works within the area.
The Order becomes effective on 22nd May 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 27th May 2025 and last until 2nd June 2025 between the hours of 19:00 - 06:00 for a total of 6 nights.
