Lynch Lane - Temporary Road Closure For Alteration Works

Temporary Closure of The Lippiatt and Lynch Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along The Lippiatt - from the junction with St Andrews Road to the junction with Lynch Lane and Lynch Lane - from the junction with The Lippiatt, northwards for a distance of 45 metres. A total distance of 180 metres.
This Order will enable Core Highways to carry out service alteration works on behalf of National Grid.
The Order becomes effective on 15th May 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months.
The works are expected to commence on 19th May 2025 and last until 22nd May 2025 between the hours of 09:00 - 15:00 for a total of 4 days.
