NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2024

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:

Footpaths Associated Mead Vale and Falcon Crescent, Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Pedestrians Order 2025

Date coming Into Force: 12 May 2025

Ref: SW24.25-367

Will be to close, temporarily, to pedestrians the lengths of footpaths specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of footpath.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to lay a new duct. This order will become operative on the 12 May 2025 for a maximum period of six months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 3 days in duration. Appropriate pedestrian traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Schedule - Footpaths Associated Mead Vale and Falcon Crescent at the side of property number 65 Mead Vale.

Footpath Lime Close to Verbena Way, Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Pedestrians Order 2025

Date coming Into Force: 2 June 2025

Ref: SW24.25-370

Will be to close, temporarily, to pedestrians the lengths of footpaths specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of footpath.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to lay new duct. This order will become operative on the 2 June 2025 for a maximum period of six months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be up to 19 days in duration subject to the progression of associated works. Appropriate pedestrian traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Schedule - Footpath Lime Close to Verbena Way for 50m to the side of 107 Verbena Way.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Pedestrians Order 2025

Footpath AX31/14/10 Spider Lane, Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Pedestrians Order 2025

Date coming into force: 1 May 2025

Ref: T25-08

Will be to close, temporarily, to pedestrians the lengths of footpath specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for works access and emergency services.

This order is required because of works being executed on the footpath by North Somerset Council to install signage on and above the footpath. This order will become operative on 1 May 2025, for a maximum period of six months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the work which is anticipated to be of 4 weeks duration. Appropriate signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Schedule – Footpath AX31/14/10 Spider Lane from its junction with Royal Parade to a point 50m east of the junction with Royal Parade.

Alternative routes – Royal Parade, Knightstone Road, South Parade, public footpath AX31/14/10, and vice-versa.

FINAL NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2024

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, have made an order the effect of which:

Stock Lane, Langford, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists

Date coming into force: 28 April 2025

Ref: T25-07

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles, pedestrians, equestrians and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This order was required because of highway drainage investigation works and will become operative on 28 April 2025, the maximum period for the closures is six months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 5 nights. The working and hours will be 8pm to 6am.

Schedule – Stock Lane, Langford from its junction with Brinsea Lane to the junction with Jubilee Lane.

Alternative routes – Stock Lane, Bypass, Bristol Road, Dighurst Road, Skinners Lane, Front Street, Church Lane, King Road, Brinsea Batch, Brinsea Lane and vice-versa.
