Elizabeth Way - Temporary Road Closure To Carry Out Ducting Works
What is happening?

Parish of Chard Town Temporary Closure of Kinforde
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Kinforde - from the junction with Elizabeth Way to the junction with Selwood for a total distance of 101 metres.
This Order will enable Openreach to carry out ducting works.
The Order becomes effective on 17th April 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months.
The works are expected to commence on 24th April 2025 and last until 25th April 2025 between the hours of 08:30 - 16:30 for a total of 2 days. Please visit https://one.network/?tm=141862333 for further information on the alternative route.
